Ashley Twynam

–  ABOUT YOUR COACH

I'm not the coach who has it all together. I'm the coach who figured out how to stop pretending she did.

Dr. Ashley holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is certified through the Institute for Coaching Mastery, with advanced training in somatic work, trauma-informed coaching, nervous system regulation and subconscious pattern work.

–  MY STORY

The path I walked to get here.

There’s a version of me that looked incredibly put together from the outside. Doctor of Physical Therapy. Driven. Accomplished. Checking every box on the list that was handed to me.

And privately? Exhausted. Disconnected. Running on willpower and wondering why it never felt like enough.

That’s the version of me that led me here.

I know what it's like to be capable and completely stuck at the same time.

Not stuck in a dramatic, falling-apart kind of way. Stuck in that quieter, more confusing way. Where life is fine, and you know you should feel grateful, yet something still feels like it’s missing.

I spent years trying to think my way out of that feeling. Reading, growing, working on myself. And what I eventually discovered changed everything:

The problem was never in my head. It was in my nervous system.

My background is a little unusual and that's exactly the point.

I spent over a decade as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, working with people whose bodies were holding stress, fear, and old patterns in ways no scan could explain. I learned early that you can’t separate the mind from the body. That healing doesn’t happen in isolation. That real change has to be felt not just understood.

That understanding shaped everything about how I coach.

I also learned it the personal way. I’ve done the somatic work, the subconscious work, the trauma-informed work not just as a practitioner, but as a client. I know what it feels like to sit on the other side of this. To be the one who needs holding. And I know what it means to have a coach who gets it, and what it costs when they don’t.

Here's what I want you to know.

I’m not here to fix you. You’re not broken.

I’m here because I know what it’s like to be smart, self-aware, and still spinning. To have done so much work and still feel like something isn’t shifting. To want more; more ease, more aliveness, more you and not quite know how to get there.

And I know that with the right support, the right space, and a nervous system that finally feels safe enough to release its grip, things can change. Faster than you’d expect. More gently than you’d believe.

That’s what I’m here for.

"When the body feels safe, anything is possible."

– WHERE IT ALL CONNECTS

A decade of physical therapy taught me something no textbook could.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I spent years working with clients carrying chronic tension, pain, and physical symptoms that had no clean structural explanation. What I kept witnessing was this: the body holds everything.

The stress. The fear. The perfectionism. The patterns of over-responsibility. They don’t stay in the mind. They live in the tissue, the breath, the nervous system, and the way a body braces itself just to get through the day.

In PT, I learned to look at the whole system, not just the symptom. A client comes in for a leg problem. The root is in the hip. Coaching works the same way. Someone thinks they need more confidence. The root is a childhood pattern still running quietly underneath everything.

My clinical training gave me something most coaches don’t carry: a deep, embodied understanding of how the nervous system actually works, and how to create safety at the root level, not just on the surface.

"When the body feels safe, anything is possible."

– EARTHLY LIVING

Ten years helping people heal their bodies.

– FOUNDATION

The truths that shape every session.

You are not broken. You need a new relationship with the parts of yourself you’ve been fighting.

The life you are desiring is desiring you too.

Our blocks are not in the way. They are the way. The resistance holds the information.

Creating safety is the foundation for all transformation. You cannot force your way to lasting change.
